With the temperatures rising, it’s easy to want to indulge in sweet treats like ice cream. Low-Fat or Greek Yogurt with Berries

Get all of the flavors of ice cream in a healthy way! Choose your favorite low-fat or Greek yogurt (make sure it doesn’t have a ton of sugar!) and top it with seasonal berries. If you want an extra treat, you can add dark chocolate chips or a sprinkle of your favorite granola. This is a nourishing snack that you can make differently every time you enjoy it.

If you prefer savory snacks over sweet snacks, a classic pita and hummus combination is always delicious and packed with vitamins and minerals. Switch up this snack by having your pita either raw or toasted, and you can swap out different types of hummus as well.

You’ll think that you’re eating ice cream when you are enjoying an amazing smoothie packed full of health benefits! The great thing about smoothies is that even if you have braces, smoothies are a great way to get all of the nutrients that you need. Plus, it is refreshing on a hot summer day.
