COVID-19 Update

To Our Lippitz Orthodontic Patients and Families,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the last year plus, and all of us are adjusting to our new normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: our commitment to your safety. We will continue to acquire and implement safety measures throughout our offices to increase our patient’s and team’s well-being.

Our schedule has been reduced and it is our intent to have as few folks in our office as possible. We ask parents to send their patient in alone (when appropriate).

• Many of you have a COVID informed consent on file, thank you. A link is sent with each appointment reminder. Please review, sign and return it in advance of your appointment. You only need to do this once.

• Please wear your own mask to the appointment (we are unable to provide masks due to PPE shortages)

• At the office we will take your temperature (100.4 and above will be rescheduled)

• Please brush and floss at home before coming into your appointment as these stations are closed.

• You will be provided sanitizing spray or gel as you enter the office.

• Only patients with appointments (and one parent/guardian if necessary) are permitted into the office. Please, help us keep our office as unpopulated as possible. Hopefully at some point we can return to a vibrant, bustling atmosphere with a full lobby.

• You will see our waiting room will no longer offer magazines, children’s books, or our electronic game systems until further notice.

• Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. That might mean that you’re offered fewer options for scheduling your appointment.

• Please follow social distancing guidelines.

We look forward to seeing you and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice. Thank you for being our patient. We value your trust and loyalty and look forward to welcoming our patients, neighbors and friends with our new normal!
